The PhosAgro Case

I am Alexander Gorbachev, the co-founder of Russian fertiliser group PhosAgro, which is listed in Moscow and London. I was the Chairman of PhosAgro in 2002-04, having built up the business in the remote region of Murmansk Oblast, north of the Arctic Circle in the 1990s.

My 24.75% stake in PhosAgro was unlawfully taken from me by my former friend, the multi-billionaire oligarch Andrei Guriev. My case against him is now going through the UK courts.

The purpose of this website is to explain my claim to all interested parties and in particular to provide important information to key stakeholders who may be affected by my action (such as PhosAgro’s current investors). I also wish to put on record my credentials as a founder and former Chairman of PhosAgro, and correct any misrepresentations circulated by those hostile to me.
